Introduction – Main ideas1
Since digital tools have entered almost every aspects of our everyday life, and since both our target groups,ELET and NEETs, are digital natives understanding how they interact with digital tools and how they can be correctly implemented in Education and Training is fundamental to prevent Early School Leaving and to support the reintegration of those who are NEETs.
This module will present the potential of digital tools and their possible application in the prevention of ELET and NEET, it will cover:
- The opportunities provided by Digital tools in supporting and reintegration of NEETs and support of ELET. How the lived experience of digital natives is different from previous generations and how to adapt to their needs.
- The discourse surrounding AI and its implementation in the field of Education. Which benefits could AI provide to educators and learners and which problems could arise with an incorrect implementation.
- Gamification and game-based learning as tools to be implemented in the field of education to achieve higher levels of engagement during learning activities and how it could affect the support and prevention of ELET and NEETs
